About Amelia
AMELIA SIPKIN is an 18-year-old New York City based actress, singer and dancer, who will be attending Harvard University this fall.
Amelia trained intensively for 7 years with the AMERICAN BALLET THEATER (ABT) in NYC, and was the Petite Crispin in ABT’s production of HARLEQUINADE at The Metropolitan Opera House in Lincoln Center. She has starred in over 30 Off-Broadway productions, and landed multiple dream roles at The French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, including Elle Woods in LEGALLY BLONDE, Emma in the TRW world premiere of THE PROM, Arielle in THE LITTLE MERMAID, Sarah Brown in GUYS AND DOLLS, Babe in THE PAJAMA GAME, Princess Fiona in SHREK, Nancy in OLIVER, and Jane Seymour in SIX, just to name a few.
Amelia attended CHOATE ROSEMARY HALL’s conservatory program for high school where she starred as Lady Macbeth in MACBETH, Ariel in FOOTLOOSE, Clio/Kira in XANADU, Anon is ANON(YMOUS), Donna is MAMMA MIA!, the Witch in INTO THE WOODS, and Woman 2 in SONGS OF A NEW WORLD across the multiple theaters on campus. She has trained with THE YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA, Broadway Workshop, Random Farms Productions, and numerous prestigious acting teachers all around New York City. Vocally, Amelia has trained since she was 10 years old with multiple esteemed JUILLIARD faculty as well as vocal instructors from Choate Rosemary Hall.
In August of 2024 Amelia was selected by the NEW YORK POPS ORCHESTRA to be their lead vocal soloist, performing Stephen Sondheim’s The Miller’s Son. She also sang backup vocals for Chilina Kennedy’s NY Pops performance from BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL and performed as Cosette in LES MISERABLES’s One Day More alongside a cast loaded with Broadway talent.


Amelia has enjoyed film and TV work as well, including co-starring roles in HBO’s GOSSIP GIRL, and Alexandra Spieth’s critically acclaimed web series “BLANK MY LIFE.” She has starred in the short films THE SHUFFLEBOTTOMS at NYU Tisch, THE BREADHOUSE at New York’s School for Visual Arts, and REALITY COME TRUE at the Ghetto Film School.
While Amelia plans to spend her entire adult professional life performing on the stage and screen, she is now looking forward to continuing her artistic development at Harvard University. Stay tuned for news on upcoming performances…
